Hawthorne House Wedding with Sparkly Bride and Classic Florals // Michaela + Xavien

A big fan of romance in the form of books, movies, tv shows... but especially her own story... Michaela had a lot to say to Xavien during their private vows, and much to their surprise, the vows they each said in that moment — made both of them more emotional than they had been prepared for.

This special first look moment inside the white gazebo at Hawthorne House, was as romantic as you can ask for, and hearing Michaela say "Oh my gosh I just love you so much!!" at the end of her vows when the vow books were closed and these two were just IN their moment together...was really the thing that stood out the most. When you love someone so much that you feel like you just can't say it strongly enough — these two, they get it.

Michaela made sure to come prepared in her vow book with a sticky-note style vow for the both of them to not only agree to and promise — but to sign on the spot — Meredith and Derek style. They both had written down their perspectives, their unfailing love for one another, and their promises for all that comes next.

These two went on to share a beautiful ceremony in the classic wedding chapel on property of Hawthorne House, and then after some sunset photos…they danced the evening away.

These newlyweds rounded out one incredibly special day by visiting their own guestbook toward the end of the night — the fun and trendy After the Tone — the original vintage phone audio guestbook... aka: voicemails you wanna keep. And what did they do? They stood side by side, picked up that phone receiver and left themselves a voicemail to listen to later, to save forever — shouting "HEY! WE'RE MARRIED!!"
