I've known this radiant expecting mom now for more than half my life, more than half both of our lives, given our one-month apart birthdays and same ages... and both of our lives have gone through so many twists and turns than our little teen hearts who emailed one another every single day, novel style, could have ever predicted. It's fun to wonder what those teens would think if we could travel back and say hey, here's how life will look in 2022. I think it's safe to say we're both happier than ever, and seeing her in this chapter of life — Mom to a 12 year old, soon to be Mom to a new baby, a life built and continuing to grow with a loving guy by her side, chickens in her front yard and plants growing all over the place like she prefers — it's such a sweet little thing to witness.
