Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island Georgia Engagement Photos // Olivia + Jonathan

Olivia's grandmother once told her to take as many photos as possible, always — to never end up regretting that you don't have enough. So, these two, on an anniversary trip went down to the beach the day before the day you see here to do just that. To take some photos with their phones, make some memories. Unbeknownst to Olivia, Jonathan had an additional plan...to propose. And propose he did, just the two of them, on the beach, at sunset.

The very next day, they came to Driftwood Beach in Savannah Georgia, a place they wanted to see, and in hand was their phones and tripod, set to take more photos of them, to showcase their newly engaged status, and celebrate the moment. Shortly after setting things up and snapping their photos, myself and my best friend Jamie — also on a trip to see Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island... spotted these two. What started as me taking a chance — approaching an adorable set of strangers, introducing myself and asking them if I could please take their photos... turned into one of the most magical evenings of my entire career... One of the strongest and happiest synchronicities I've ever experienced, and ended with a gallery of photos that mean so much to me and that I am SO happy to share with this precious couple! The universe works in the most mysterious and magical ways and I will never, ever stop appreciating this life.
