"I'm just so glad to finally be with you!" — Katie's words to Andrew after they finally got to see one another for their first look. After spending the morning getting ready in separate locations, making their way to the church, and hiding in different rooms.... that reveal was so much more than a chance to see how each other looked on their big day. As if the smiles on their faces hadn't already been impossibly huge...from that point forward, Katie and Andrew never stopped beaming from ear to ear.

And let that be worth noting to all you engaged couples — first looks are SO special! I think oftentimes people worry that a first looks ruins the surprise… like, it’s a surprise then too!! And I’ve seen people crumble both times — first look AND ceremony, so… if ya think about it, you get two surprises, two reactions, double the amazingness!!!

These two were married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and then the newlyweds and their nearest and dearest gathered at the always impeccable - The Guild, in downtown Kansas City. Where one heck of a party kicked off and went til late that night!!
