Romantic and Candid Engagement Photos at Loose Park Rose Garden // Betsy + Dalton

The powers of social media showed a memory to Betsy — a photo of the slightly younger versions of herself and Dalton — years prior, as each other's date to their high school semi formal. Though they had lost touch over the years, and both spent time living in exact opposite sides of the country....they had since moved back to their hometown, and viola, the memory photo popped up!!

That photo led to a conversation starter, which lead to catching up and hanging out....and ultimately, a relationship bloomed.

Years later on...Dalton, with the approval of Betsy's Dad and brother...surprised the heck out of her with a proposal — which brings us here! These two are going to have one seriously magical wedding day come May of 2025....and I for one am wildly excited for it!!

Loose Park in Kansas City never ever disappoints for photos, regardless of time of year… but oh so especially during the summer months when the Rose Garden is at its height! So glad we were able to get this for these guys!!
