Romantic Fall Color Engagement Photos at The Nelson Atkins // Jasmine + Elijah

Volunteering at the concession stand at a K-State football game was the sight of where these two first met...started talking, and totally hit it off. Leading them to a first date almost six years ago. In December of 2023, Elijah tricked Jasmine into thinking they were getting dressed up to attend a party for his doctoral program, when in fact...he led her to the oh so beautiful chapel at Powell Gardens, and there, full of rose petals... he proposed!!

With busy life schedules, work schedules, commitments and to-do lists — they still find time for one another, for their shared love of cooking together, trying new restaurants, or just snuggling on the couch with a movie. What they're really doing, at the core of it all... is building a foundation for a blissful life together. Jasmine and Elijah are two perfectly matched humans, and I'm so jazzed to know them and so looking forward to their wedding day later this year at The Pavilion Event Space!!

The Nelson Atkins in Kansas City is one of the single most popular locations for photos of all kinds…. and no matter the time of year, it is always stunning. The front lawn is a hot bed of great photo spots, angles, views and light! But let me tell you….if you can time it right to hit that front lawn at the PEAK of fall colors…woweeee wow wow wow… you’ve struck gold. Literally.
