St Thomas More + Deer Creek October Wedding // Samantha + Justin

There was a time when Samantha caught the bouquet at her best friends wedding, and it was that time, that evening itself, that Justin watched from their table, just beyond the dance floor, knowing that there was so much irony in her catching those flowers. She had no idea that she was getting proposed to mere hours from then.

Flash forward to the 14th of October, when the forecast showed rain and storms...all of which happened, tremendously...but, all of which held off until these two and all their sweet friends and families were safely indoors. It was their perfect day, and it was Samantha's turn to be throwing a bouquet, to be the one in a gorgeous bridal gown, to be the one marrying the love of her life!

They said their I Do's in an immaculately beautiful Catholic Church, St Thomas More in Kansas. They celebrated their new marriage in the always lovely Deer Creek Golf Club. They held each other close for photos, under bright yellow Fall trees. They watched in awe as the storm blew through - safe, warm and dry inside. They smiled at the incredible double rainbow that popped up as the storm trailed off. And they spent the entire evening stealing glances at one another, eyes twinkling, smiles beaming - knowing they are each other's other half, solidified with rings on their fingers.
