Wedding at The Legacy at Green Hills, Kansas City Northland // Kathryn + Andy

No one wants rain on their wedding day but unfortunately that's a lot of what Kathryn and Andy saw for theirs.

Questions of if they could carry on as planned for their outdoor ceremony were being asked left and right. Ultimately, they got rained on for a lot of photos, but right before the ceremony began, the rain stopped!!

And the most miraculous part of all was the sun bursting out from behind all the cloud cover just as Kathryn walked down the aisle….pure magic!!!

On a completely separate note....How many people can say that they were there the day their parents married each other? How many can look back on photos of themselves, a wee little 4 month old, in the arms of their grandpa watching their parents say their vows? Well, that cutie in the pink dress that you’ll soon see, little miss Kennedy herself — now can!

Despite rain, Kathryn and Andy had a beautiful day with their nearest and dearest and with their sweet baby girl! And it was absolutely beautiful!!

It rained basically the entire time we did these bridal party photos, and this group was so cool about it!! Ya know what else was cool!? The fact that the father-of-the-bride stood behind me and held and umbrella over me so that I could keep both hands on my camera and avoid getting it soaked!! GOTTA LOVE AWESOME KIND PEOPLE :)

Loveeee this sweet moment of Andy’s Dad giving a bottle to his granddaughter as her Mom and Dad recite their vows on their wedding day!!

Before sweet little Kennedy wasn’t having it anymore, we simply HAD to get a few photos involving her! Can you just imagine? One day, years from now, Kennedy will look through her parents wedding album and see photos of HER at their wedding….I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

Reception time! Pay close attention to the fact that Andy, accidentally….ate a bite of their wedding cake before feeding any to Kathryn,….I think he got a little too excited for cake! Can’t say I blame him!
