Recapping my “favorite shots” from each wedding each year is getting harder and harder to do — my gosh! The 2019 wedding season had 28 total weddings, and this below is about half of that, and lemme tell ya…this isn’t some quick scroll. There are so so sooo many memories here, and I love them all!

Every year my favorite thing is always the portraits of my couples — those joyful, emotional, in-the-moment captures that show so much about who they are and what they share…oh yeah, that’s my fave. But I noticed not only in my shooting this past year, but also as I pieced together this post too, that there’s so much more. And I’m loving the “so much more” even more these days.

So what is the “so much more”? — it’s those special moments between a Mom and her daughter, a group of sisters as one marries and the others support. It’s a quick moment as Grandma hugs you with all her might on your wedding day. It’s the quiet glances between guests and family. It’s reading the words your almost-spouse took the time to write for your eyes only, hours before you tie the knot. And so much more.

Regardless of the photo, the moments within — they’re all ultimately so very important, and that’s one of the reasons why putting this post together was so difficult! There’s a lot to be shared and a lot to be remembered.
