They’ve been together seven whole years already and survived long distance dating for the first two — after their first date, Rachel called her best friend to say she was going to marry this guy. She was totally right!

When it comes to the proposal… the story goes that they have a Christmas tradition of getting each other a new ornament for the tree, and in December of 2019 (ironically, on Rachel's birthday!) — Shawn let her know that her new ornament was hidden deep within the Christmas tree. Rachel's competitive said emerged and as she was busy hunting all over that tree in search of it, Shawn was busy getting down on one knee behind her.

How did it end? Well, Shawn eventually said the words "Just turn around"... and then he said some other words, like "Will you marry me?"
