Engagement Session by the River // Kansas City // Bri + Craig

Some three years ago, Bri was busy at work as the bar manager of Geraldine's restaurant in the the Van Zandt hotel in Austin, Texas. It was somewhat early in the morning when Craig and his buddy moseyed in and bellied-up at the bar, only to be told by an employee that the bar was not open, and no, they could not order drinks. When this news didn’t go over well, the manager was asked to come help — so out comes Bri, ready to kick some butt, and instead she locks eyes with that bearded midwestern boy named Craig and everything in her life took a sudden turn for the better.

An hour long conversation, a number exchange, and some chatting the next day led these two to their first date at a local French restaurant — where Craig arrived extremely early out of nervousness, Bri ran late, and they stayed out having drinks and good conversation until 2am. Neither of them wanted to say goodbye, despite it being a Sunday and Craig having to be up for work in just a few hours.

With a first date like that, you know its going places, and places it went. These two have been together now three years and love life together like no other. With lots of concerts (their fave) and beach vacations (their other fave) these two have made a lot of memories together and know the best is still yet to come.

A surprise proposal at sunset on the beaches of the Caribbean led these two to where they are now — engaged, happily engaged, and planning an August wedding — and if that day goes anything like their oh so fun engagement session, we are all in for a real treat and day of nothing but joy!
