Summery Engagement Photos at Shawnee Mission Park // Megan + Mitchell

So a little over two years ago... Megan here created an online dating profile... and that same day, Mitchell found it. He messaged her with a Harry Potter pickup line, and a Doctor Who reference, and in that moment, Megan sent a text to a friend of hers to say "He's the one!" — and, he is!

Covid intervened when it came time for Mitchell’s proposal plans, but that didn’t stop him — no way, just had to pivot to Plan B! And when Mitchell booked a hotel room for a visit to Kansas City — instead of the usual, they stay with his parents… Megan had a suspicion!

On the balcony of their Kansas City Plaza based hotel — overlooking the beautiful Plaza itself, Megan stood taking in that beauty and commented on just how beautiful it is. And in that moment, Mitchell saw his opportunity, and replied with “Speaking of beautiful…” and down to one knee he went!!
