Kelly + Cory...

From the moment they first met in 2015 thanks to a mutual friend… they both pretty much knew from that very second this was it. And from first dates at Italian restaurants to slow dancing in her living room to "Can't Help Falling In Love", to day dates at none other than where they stood on this sunny day for their engagement session ... it has been one memory after another for these two.

After 2020's rocky times and all the isolation we all endured, Cory knew Kelly was missing her two favorite things so much — St Louis Cardinals baseball games, and concerts. So, he pulled some serious and amazing strings and their typical Christmas gift tradition continued — (where they take turns planning dates for each other!). Cory’s planned surprise date for her this time, involved those things she was missing the most.... just with an unexpected twist.

After a day of fun activities downtown, Cory took Kelly to Busch Stadium where a guy Kelly assumed was just a guy playing his saxophone for spare change suddenly switched his tune of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" to.... "Can't Help Falling In Love With You".... and Cory pulled Kelly in for another slow dance to the iconic memory they share. As that special song finished up from the not-so-random-saxophone-player, (but a friend of Cory's instead) .... Cory went down to one knee and asked Kelly to be his wife! — The ultimate date, the ultimate surprise, and of course, she said yes!!
